Wood-Fired Hot Tub Experience
It’s a real old school soak, slowly heated to perfection. We do not use any harmful chemicals, our tub water is cleaned with natural eco products, instead of chlorine.
Ours is a hot tub, not a jacuzzi - so you can expect warm water relaxation, birdsong, curious alpacas, and reeds rustling around you.
There is a picnic table under a shade sail next to the tub where you can take a breather in between soaks, have a drink, snack and a cool down.
Please bring your own towels.
A few steps away live our pop star residents - alpacas Merlin, Prince and Ringo. You’re welcome to greet them over the fence, they do like a good selfie. If you bring a couple of carrot sticks, they’ll be your friends forever.
We do not like rushing our guests, true relaxation takes time and patience. Therefore, we offer two daily sessions, 12-3pm and 5-8pm. Extended sessions are possible upon request.
The tub fits up to 8 people, perfect for small groups of friends, families or work teams.
How to find us:
We’re at the end of the left fork of New Quay Lane in Melton. Please park on Melton Road and walk up - our car park is very small and reserved for our glamping guests.
Worth noting that the lane is often flooded - wellies or crocs would be useful for walking through the water.
What to bring:
Swimwear, towels, a robe and warm clothes for after the soak.
Also drinks/snacks for refuelling in between soaks.
No glass allowed in or by the tub for obvious safety reasons.
Please take all your rubbish with you.
Facilities and weather:
There is a water tap on site, also two compost loos.
We have no dedicated changing area but there is an outdoors shower nearby if you need some privacy for changing.
Weather - the tub can be heated and enjoyed in all weathers. Small covered picnic table area next to the tub will keep your stuff dry in case it rains.
We’ll cancel in case of high winds (over 50mph), thunder and lightning.
