OUR STORY

Spring Farm Barn was once a working farm with substantial pasture and orchards. Since the 1950s, the land has changed ownership a few times and although no longer viable for agriculture, it is nevertheless a perfect location for "glamping" –  sitting in a conservation area within the Area of National Beauty and easy walking distance of Woodbridge, where we are waiting to welcome you for your stay at our little corner of paradise in either our 2 bell tents and or our beautiful shepherds' hut

As a local family with three children we (Tuuli & Richard), have developed a secluded and unique eco-tourism project, which offer visitors an easy and fun way to experience the great outdoors. Choose from one of our two bell tents which offer many creature comforts - a king size bed with a comfortable mattress and bedding, single futon mattresses for children and a couple of armchairs for lounging in.

At Spring Farm Barn, visitors are able to get close to nature, take walks along the River Deben and observe wildlife such as rabbits hopping around the orchard, the occasional muntjac deer and pheasants. They will also be able to meet the farm animals which we keep in our paddock - currently goats, alpacas, hens and ducks. Children will be encouraged to participate in feeding times so they can learn about handling animals and can collect eggs which their families can then use for a free-range breakfast.

Hello; I'm a creative mum of three boys. I love reading, good food, independent travel, mucking about in the garden, good glass of wine, working on furniture restoration projects and hosting dinners. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our little oasis soon!

We had a lovely 2 nights 'glamping'. Tuuli was a fantastic and attentive host who gave us privacy but also checked up on us in case of any problems or questions. The place was beautiful, clean and had everything you need on the site for a comfortable stay. It is also walking distance from Woodbridge (a very nice small town). We would definitely stay again!

Emma:

Tuuli and her family made us feel very welcome a very very special trip for our family my husband is an amputee and currently recovering from A major op. Tuuli did everything possible and more to make sure we had everything we needed. It was an incredibly relaxed atmosphere just what we needed. We came prepared with wood, water, firefighters and try had everything we needed and so much more. The camp is utterly divine and we cannot wait to return. Cannot express our heartfelt gratitude to Tuuli and her family we highly recommend staying on this special Place it was just what we needed.

Anna:

WOW! A fabulous glamping experience with real attention to detail from the pretty solar fairy lights at night, the gorgeous vintage crockery to the fantastic hot outside shower! Tuuli was a fantastic host, showing us around and letting us mingle with her farm animals, her lovely children mixed with ours and it made the whole experience rather magical. She even asked if our children wanted to feed their animals in the morning, which my boys (who were slightly cautious of goats and alpacas) became really at home around the animals and loved it. We even had the fresh eggs for breakfast-lovely! I rarely write reviews but this was an experience we hope to repeat and know others won't be disappointed. Thank you Tuuli!
